From a young age, I have been lucky to call myself a world traveler—each year, my family would save up for one big summer trip. Disney was everything we three kids could have dreamed of at first, until my parents took us on our first cruise. From then on, the whole family was hooked, looking forward all year to cramming into one single cabin together for a week or two at a time, ready to go on to eventually explore virtually every island in the Caribbean, both coasts of Mexico and Central America, Alaska and Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and every spot in between.
When I grew older, I graduated from the University of Missouri and started working in sales for the largest wine company in the world. I eventually went on to work in a position helping our local sales teams across the U.S. I spent 45 weeks of the year on the road—one week in New York City, the next in Miami, the next in Seattle, and so on. For several years, I was booking multiple flights, car rentals and hotel stays every single week. I was everywhere all of the time, and I loved it.
In my final position with the winery, I moved to the marketing team, working as the assistant brand manager for High Noon Hard Seltzer. Here, my business journeys continued, but my eyes were also opened to more of the luxury sides of travel. The brand’s celebrity partnerships and commercial shoots, over-the-top incentive trips, and corporate retreats found me appreciating some of the finest restaurants, hotels, venues and experiences you can find.
I eventually left corporate in search of a career I felt more connected to and one that I could make more personally meaningful. To me, travel advising was the perfect way to combine my lifelong love for traveling with my business skills and experiences from years of corporate travels and events.
I have lived and worked in Denver, Dallas, Utah, and the Central Valley of California and San Francisco, and am now back home in the Ozarks, above Lake Taneycomo. I am a lifelong outdoorsman and find myself mainly pursuing high-adventure travel within the U.S. and traveling in a variety of ways to new places internationally. From family cruises in the Caribbean and incentive trips to Cabo, to honeymoons in Hawaii and river cruises through Europe, let me know where you want to go, and I’ll take care of the rest!
